Call for bids to host the 15th IFLA Interlending and Document Supply Conference (ILDS) 2017

By Peter Bae

IFLA, the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions is looking for an organization or institution which will host the 2017 Interlending and Document Supply (ILDS) Conference.

Started in London in 1988, with 280 delegates from 23 countries, ILDS Conference is the only international conference in which the Interlending and Document Delivery professionals gather every two years and share their experiences, knowledge and new developments in the field. The most recent conference was held in Istanbul, Turkey and it was successfully organized by ANKOS (Anatolian University Libraries Consortium).

As a good resource sharing practice starts from information sharing, the conference will be a perfect venue to emphasize the importance of resource sharing activities,   nationally and internationally.

We wish any interested parties will participate the bids to host the conference. Full details are available in the official call for bids.
