Organised by the C H Mohammed Koya Library – University of Calicut, this this two-day conference will discuss various aspects of transformations of the library ecosystem.

The overall purpose of the conference is to survey the impact of the changing information landscape on library services and the role of libraries as an active player as well as a catalyst in information management in the new normal world. There is a firm hankering and demand from various sources to repurpose the services and rediscover the essence of libraries to meet the challenge posed by the changing information landscape.

The focus of the conference would be to leverage libraries towards the transformation of the library ecosystem, identifying new terrains and trajectories. The explosive growth of the internet, widespread availability of e-resources, and unprecedented application of ICT have brought tremendous opportunities as well as challenges for librarians to transform the library ecosystem in order to cope up with the changing needs of the patrons. The conference will discuss various aspects of transformations of the library ecosystem.

IFLA President Christine Mackenzie will deliver a keynote address at the conference.
