The 2019 American Library Association (ALA) Annual Conference will be held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington DC, USA.

ALA 2019 offers a host of professional development opportunities, new ideas to help shape the future of libraries, and a full slate of author programs, interesting speakers, and special events.

Delegates can find out more about IFLA at the IFLA Update Session (1pm - 2pm, Sunday 23 June, at the Marriot Marquis, Farragut North), and both President Glòria Pérez-Salmerón and Secretary General Gerald Leitner will participate in the International Relations Committee (IRC) meeting (1:30pm - 3:00pm, Friday 21 June, Marriott Marquis Hotel, Magnolia) and the International Leaders Forum (2:30pm - 3:30pm, Monday 24 June, Room 143C at the Convention Centre).
