President Glòria Pérez-Salmerón will participate in the Next Library Conference 2019, which takes place in Aarhus’s award-winning Dokk1 library building. 

The Next Library Conference is an international gathering of forward-thinking library professionals, innovators and decision-makers who are pushing boundaries and making changes that support learning in the 21st century. Created by Denmark’s Aarhus Public Libraries and first presented in 2009, the purpose of a NEXT LIBRARY® event is to look ahead and explore the continuously evolving nature of the public library in the 21st century. 

There themes for Next Library Conference 2019 are:

  • Civic Media and Data Democracy
  • Temporary Spaces
  • Game Changing Tech & Emerging Trends

President Glòria Pérez-Salmerón will be one of the Keynote speakers and will also present the Joy of Reading Award and hand over the prize to the winning project.
