Open session: The UN Disability Rights Convention

The Library Services to People with Special Needs section's open session The UN Disability Rights Convention: What It Means for Persons with Disabilities and Library Services Worldwide covers ensuring library access and library services for disabled persons on the basis of the UN convention, the role of libraries and librarians in developing accessible libraries, France's success in developing library access and the relationship between the UN convention and the WIPO Marrakesh Treaty to Facilitate Access to Published Works for Persons Who Are Blind, Visually Impared or Otherwise Print Disabled.

The session takes place Sunday August 17th, 13:45 - 15:45 at Auditorium Lumière.
