First Regional IFLA Conference in the Arab region

IFLA is pleased to announce the first Regional IFLA Conference in the Arab region in cooperation with AFLI (Arab Federation for Libraries and Information) and Qatar Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage (Public Libraries Department) is taking place from 10 to 13 June 2013 in Qatar. 

During the week, the confence will run a two day session (10 and 11 June) on copyright limitations and exceptions for library and archives with the support of the Committee for Copyright and Other Legal Matters (CLM).

The second part of the week (12 to 13 June) will be dedicated to a workshop focusing on IFLA's Building Strong Library Associations (BSLA).
