The 2nd UNIMARC Users Meeting took place at the Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale di Firenze, the 14th of March 2008, following the 19th PUC Meeting.

Opened by Dr. Maurizio Fallace, Director-General for Library Heritage, Cultural Institutes and Copyright and Antonia Fontana, Director of the BNCF, the event gathered 70 participants from seven countries.

Following introductory papers by Maria Inês Cordeiro, Director of the UCA and Alan Hopkinson, Chair of the PUC, the programme included seven presentations by users from Italy, Greece, Slovenia, Russia, France and the Consortium of European Research Libraries (CERL).
