The Asia-Pacific regional Internet Governance Forum (APrIGF) is a key opportunity for stakeholders across Asia-Pacific to debate and look for consensus on issues around how the Internet works.

The conference this year is being held in Vanuatu. This is the first time it will have come to the Pacific islands, and is an opportunity to focus on the specific challenges faced by isolated communities.

Libraries will be well represented, with a workshop focused on the importance of access to information for development, and the role that our institutions play in making this meaningful for everyone.
