IFLA is undertaking its first member and viewpoints survey and invites your input.

IFLA aims to be the international voice of the library and information profession – advocating and supporting the development of the library field, providing opportunities to meet and network with professionals from around the world, and disseminating standards and guidelines for library and information work.

Your feedback is vital in ensuring that we continue to deliver the best possible support to library associations, institutions and librarians. Every IFLA member should have received an invitation to the survey by email. If you have not, use the link below to provide your feedback. IFLA also invites interested associations, institutions and librarians who are not members to provide their views.

We’re undertaking a viewpoints survey to give you the chance to tell us what you think and your expectations of the IFLA.

IFLA has engaged TBI Communications to carry out the survey and analysis.

The survey can be completed in all IFLA languages: English, Español, français, Deutsch, Русский, 中文 and العربية.

To participate, please visit the IFLA viewpoints survey

In appreciation of your input, if you complete the survey before 15 January 2018, you can choose to enter into a competition to win your choice of the following prizes:

  • Two years free individual membership of IFLA;
  • Free personal registration to the 2018 IFLA World Library and Information Congress in Kuala Lumpur (24-30 August 2018);
  • A selection of four IFLA monographs of your choice from the IFLA Publications or Global Studies in Libraries and Information series.

You will have the chance to enter the competition at the end of the survey – but rest assured that if you choose to enter, your survey responses will remain anonymous.

Many thanks in advance for your time and your ideas.
