Official soft launch of IFLA Online Learning Platform
The IFLA Online Learning Platform was officially soft launched by IFLA President Ellen Tise on December 8 2010. The launch was held during the Governing Board meeting held at IFLA Headquarters in The Hague.
The Online Learning Platform is a new section of the IFLA website that makes available learning materials for the Building Strong Library Associations programme in a dedicated learning environment.

Two Governing Board members who were also members of the expert group that developed the Building Strong Library Associations programme, Helena Asamoah-Hassan and Barbara Schleihagen, participated in the soft launch.

IFLA President Ellen Tise pushes the button to launch the site, with congratulations from Governing Board colleagues and IFLA’s Web & IT Manager.
More information about the Building Strong Library Associations programme and the Online Learning platform is available. All members are now invited to register and participate in using the site.
