HBS Section Satellite Session 2013
The Standing Committee of the Health and Biosciences Section regret to announce that we have decided not to go ahead with the section’s satellite session this year.
The reason we have decided not to go ahead with the meeting is that the response to the call for papers was very disappointing. We would not have nearly enough papers for a full meeting. We are also aware of people’s travel plans and realise that many members who usually attend IFLA will not be there this year. Economic factors are the primary reason given.
We would like to thank those who did prepare abstracts for this session and to everyone who helped in preparing and distributing the call for papers.
The section is planning to hold a satellite meeting at the 2014 conference.
Sincerely,
Brian Galvin
