Global Environment Scan

The IFLA Metropolitan Libraries Section and the IFLA Statistics and Evaluation Standing Committee are collaborating to conduct a global environment scan of the state of current outcomes/impact and value assessment in Metropolitan and National Libraries. The purpose of the study is to identify libraries that have conducted successful outcomes/impact and value assessments to provide models for others to emulate. The Metropolitan Libraries Section will devise training programs reflecting best practices revealed from the study. The results of the scan will be presented at the IFLA Conference in Rotterdam in 2023 and will be submitted for publication. If interested in this endeavor, reach out to Project Contact: Dr. Colleen Cook at colleenck16@gmail.com for more information.
